Day 4

Only Day 4 and we got the pile of parts looking like a boat! Today we worked for a little over 3 hours. The sheer clamps were dry so we sanded the scarf joints on the bottom and side panels. We also drilled the holes in bottom and side panels for stitching. Once that was done we were able to stitch the bow and stern of the side panels and the keel line on the bottom panel. With that done we could open up the panels and it took the form of a boat! Woo-hoo! We did have our first shop accident... Dad cut his finger a little but was patched up with a sponge bob band-aid.
